Philip T. Tobin, Board Chairman,

Philip T. Tobin is Chairman and was the President of iGift Fund until June 30 2023. Prior to co-founding iGiftFund in 2016, Phil served as Chairman and President of the American Endowment Foundation. Prior to co-founding AEF in 1992, he was Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of The Cleveland Foundation, America’s first community foundation. Phil was a founding director of The Investment Fund for Foundations (TIFF) and co-founder of Hudson Community Foundation.
An early pioneer of donor-advised funds, Phil has, arguably, the longest experience in donor-advised funds in America.
Lawrence R. Spieth, Independent Director, Chairman –

Lawrence Spieth has one of the longest-running careers at Dimensional Fund Advisors. He joined the firm when it was founded in 1981 and has had many roles during his tenure. Currently, he is a Vice President in the Institutional Services group. His primary responsibilities include developing business
with corporate and nonprofit organizations and providing quality service to Dimensional’s existing clients. Money Management Letter recognized him for his efforts by naming him Client Service Executive of the Year for 2004.
Before coming to Dimensional, Lawrence was a vice president and pension consultant at A.G. Becker, Inc. (now SEI, Inc.). Previously, he worked at IBM.
Lawrence holds an MBA from St. Louis University and a BT from the University of Dayton.
Gary Hanz, Independent Director, Chairman –

Retired CEO of the Walter Boos Company. Pursued a second career in the healthcare field and currently serves in primary and specialty health care as Family Nurse Practitioner. Father of four children and active in the community. Twenty-five years of experience in donor-advised funds. Formerly founding Board Member of America’s largest independent donor-advised fund foundation. Founding Board member of iGiftFund.
