In its ongoing pursuit to disrupt the donor advised fund industry, Hudson’s iGiftFund names new executives as growth continues.

September 9, 2019–HUDSON, Ohio – iGiftFund adds two and promotes a third to its executive team in support of its ongoing mission to disrupt the donor advised fund industry and enhance the charitable giving experience with simplicity, accessibility and affordability.

Co-founded by one of the country’s premier donor advised fund (DAF) experts, Phil Tobin, iGiftFund was founded on the belief that the DAF experience should be personal, accessible, and effective.

“The experience we’re trying to build revolves around the donor experience,” says Tobin, Chairman and President of iGiftFund. “We’ve been inspired by tech companies that disrupted their industries by making things easier for customers. To continue doing this, we’re growing our team with like-minded people who are focused on personalizing the giving experience for every client we work with.”

William Payne joins iGiftFund and has been elected Chief Executive Officer by its Board of Directors. He will report directly to Tobin and will supervise the organization’s overall business strategy. He’ll also lead the development and execution of iGiftFund’s long-term strategies and will monitor the success of the iGiftFund organization team.

“I’m excited to be a part of the iGiftFund team, and to make the donor experience the fundamental driver of our strategy,” Payne said. “This is a different kind of organization, where everything we do depends on donor personalization and individualized service.”

Payne brings more than 30 years of experience to iGiftFund in areas to include estate planning, probate and trust administration.  After graduating from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Payne received his law degree from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University.  He is admitted to practice in the Ohio Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and all Ohio municipal courts.

Sheilah E. Villanueva was promoted to iGiftFund’s EVP/Chief Operating Officer.  She is responsible for all matters related to the smooth operation of every donor’s fund, interacting with financial advisors and sharing responsibility for establishing and nurturing client relationships. Villanueva is focused on understanding and delivering on the individualized needs of donors with customized solutions, striking a balance between deep industry expertise and genuine, friendly service.

“I’m a relationship builder, and it’s my responsibility to understand each client’s unique philanthropic desires and grant-making needs,” Villanueva said. “It’s my goal in this role to develop a deep understanding of our clients’ unique visions, and to identify how they can make the greatest impact.”

Prior to joining iGiftFund in 2017, Villanueva worked for the Benevity Workplace Giving Program where she was responsible for over $1 billion in grants to more than 80,000 charities. Prior to that experience, Villanueva worked for the Cleveland Christian Home serving more than nine years, the last four as Assistant Controller.

Cindy Shedloski joins iGiftFund as Director of Finance, where she will oversee all finance, accounting, budgeting, and auditing functions for the organization. With over 30 years of experience, Shedloski will bring a steady hand and deep financial expertise to the iGiftFund team.

Shedloski graduated from The Ohio State University with a BSBA in Accounting. She spent two years at Marathon Oil before moving to Cleveland to pursue a career with The Progressive Corporation, getting involved in areas such as operational and premium auditing, business unit accounting & financial analysis, compliance, statutory and GAAP, accounting and reporting.  Shedloski is also a licensed CPA.
