2026 Year-End Giving Deadlines
Year-end is our busiest giving season. Planning ahead and starting early can help ensure your contributions and grant recommendations are processed as smoothly as possible.
December 28 is the Account Opening Deadline for Non-Cash Contributions.
Contributions
Planning a year-end contribution? Please let us know it's coming.
The easiest way to contribute is to work with your Financial Advisor to deposit funds or transfer assets directly to your fund's investment account.
Whenever you or your Financial Advisor initiate a contribution, please notify our Fiscal Team by sending an email to fiscal@igiftfund.org with your DAF name and fund number, contribution type, approximate amount, and expected date.

Work with your Financial Advisor and start early. Processing times and year-end deadlines vary by custodian and asset type.
Tip: Earlier is always better. Please allow sufficient time for contributions to be received and processed.
Grants
Planning holiday or year-end grants? You don’t have to wait until December.
You can recommend grants now and select a future payment date in your iGiftFund portal. Grants are prioritized for processing based on their payment date, and planning ahead gives you and your Financial Advisor time to ensure sufficient liquidity is available.
Funds Opened or First Funded in December
Select a payment date of December 7, 2026 or earlier for guaranteed issuance by December 31.
Existing Funds
Select a payment date of December 15, 2026 or earlier for guaranteed issuance by December 31.
We will continue processing grants with later payment dates throughout December, but issuance by December 31 cannot be guaranteed.
Tip: Consider an October or November payment date for seasonal giving. Charities experience increased year-end volume too, and recommending early can help your grants reach them sooner.
